THALIDOMIDE HAS ARRIVED!!!!

Dr. Bonis' office called this afternoon and they received Kevin's first round of Thalidomide today.  Darrell was able to literally walk down to the office building next door and pick it up. This is a pill that Kevin will take 1 a day for 28 days.

Thank you all so much for your continued love and prayers. It is through your faith and consistency that we are receiving so many blessings so frequently! We love you and I can't wait to update you on how this treatment works.

  1. That is such very, very great news! Thanks for posting as soon as it arrived. Please help us to know what to expect from this new drug, both in cancer-killing and the expected side effects. If it is the same drug that we've heard of decades ago, it must be some powerful stuff!

And, also, so glad that this cycle at home is going so much better, with the in-home nurse and all. Thank goodness! Also, we didn't quite understand from the Monday post whether he will somehow continue to receive the other chemo as well, and if so, how that will work.

A BIG "hi" to KR, and you, sis, we're there in spirit with you. Thank you also, to "the bloggers" who are doing such a good job of keeping us up to speed. Bless you all.

  3. Is that the smame drug that made all those ladies have babies with flippers? I used to have nightmares about that. So, Kevin, if you start sprouting gills or webbed feet I definitly want a photo of that!!! It is totally amazing that it is a pill you just take. Is it a really huge one??? I can not imagine how powerful it must be. I understand you got it donated and I bet it is the most expensive bottle in the house!!! I would probably misplace it, in fact I can't believe I have never lost my children I am so forgetful! It probably makes you nervous to know I pray for you every day the way I mess things up but too bad!!! I love you all so much and this cancer won't know what hit it!!!!
